The Official Opening of the Innovative Technological Center of SPbITMO

December 10, 2003 the official opening of the Innovative Technological Center of St.-Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics took at Birzhevaya Linia of Vasilyevskij Island, 16.
ITC SPbITMO is the first specialized scientific-innovative center in Saint Petersburg where the offices of innovative companies acting in informational and optical technologies is situated, there is also the training center, the conference center, the Center of the international cooperation, the Museum of SPbITMO and State Optical Institute named after N.I.Vavilov, etc.
The head office of the largest regional association of IT developers - Consortium "Fort-Ross" is located in the Centre together with the educational center and a number of laboratories of its members.
The Governor of Saint Petersburg V.I.Matviyenko and the representatives of a diplomatic corps and conducting mass-media of Northwest region took part in the opening ceremony of the Innovative Technological Center.
