Yandex acquires software developer Agnitum

Russian internet search engine Yandex has acquired the technologies of Russian information protection software developer Agnitum. Yandex has also started employing the staff of the developer. The employees will continue working in the St Petersburg-based unit of Yandex.No financial details were disclosed. Yandex expects the technologies from Agnitus to improve the protection of its Yandex.Browser.
