AMHERST, NH (April 5, 2004) - Auriga Inc., a U.S.-Russian provider of offshore, offsite, and onsite software development services, today announced the promotion of Bartley R. ("Bart") Higgins to Executive Vice President, effective immediately.

Bart was previously Senior Account Executive at Auriga and was responsible for developing strategic relationships with IT executives. In his new role, he will focus on Auriga's strategic planning, organizational and managerial development. He will also oversee the company's sales, including marketing and customer relationships.

Bart joined Auriga from Infosys Technologies Ltd., one of the largest Indian offshore outsourcing providers, where he spent six years as one of the top salespeople in the company's history. He worked with companies in the financial services, healthcare, retail, and telecom industries and established numerous satisfied customer accounts. Prior to Infosys, Bart acquired hands-on experience in various echelons within smaller IT companies, from programming and project management to CEO.
