According to RVC, Russia’s government-owned fund of funds for innovation and RBC’s partner in the effort, in addition to paper versions the project will be available online at its dedicated Russian-only website.

RBC.Innovation is a project aimed at making innovation appealing to more Russians and helping develop the infrastructure to distribute innovation-related content through news, expert op-eds, and in-house analytics.

An essential part of RBC.Innovation’s online version is what is called "an encyclopedia" of investors and innovation start-ups. It already contains a list of more than 100 projects, with many more to come. RBC purposes to "turn the encyclopedia into a most complete, up-to-date and useful online database for those interested in the business and technology of tomorrow."

"RBC.Innovation is yet another RBC product enabling start-ups and investors to find each other and the general public to get knowledge of trends that take shape in the high-tech field and innovation business," said Eduard Erkola, the RBC.Innovation project manager and managing director of CNews.ru, a popular Russian-language resource on IT and telecom technology endeavors.
