Sep 08, 2013
September 6th, 2013 — Reksoft, one of the leading software engineering outsourcing service providers in Eastern Europe belonging to the group of companies Technoserv, today announced that it has been appraised at Level 5 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). IAL Software Engineering, S.A. performed the appraisal.
CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides Reksoft with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve its performance. An appraisal at maturity level 5 indicates that Reksoft is performing at an "optimizing" level. At this level, Reksoft continually improves its processes based on a quantitative understanding of its business objectives and performance needs. The company uses a quantitative approach to understand the variation inherent in the process and the causes of process outcomes.
All Reksoft’s business units took part in appraisal: departments of financial, telecom, public sector and cross-industrial projects. Reksoft is the first company from Russia and CIS rated at maturity level 5 according to the CMMI-DEV v1.3 model.
