QPR Software and the Russian Tyumen State Oil and Gas University have entered in an agreement that provides QPR ScoreCard performance management software for educational purposes. The software will be used for training both university's staff and students to use modern and effective corporate management technologies and practices.

The Tyumen State Oil and Gas University, located in the Western Siberia in Russia, is the largest in its field of education in the Far East. Approximately 60 thousand students study in its 70 departments. According to the agreement QPR Software will provide free software licenses for training both university's students and teachers. The agreement was signed between the rector of the Tyumen State Oil and Gas University, Mr. Vladimir Novoselov, and the head of QPR's business operations in Russia, Mr. Janne Pylväs.

"We are excited and proud to be able to help Tyumen State Oil and Gas University, which is globally one of the leading institutes in its field. We trust this co-operation helps them to train their staff and students in using modern management technologies and practices as well as also to leverage them
with our global experience from delivering our software to our customers in oil and gas industry. Our customers are using QPR software, among others, to optimize their company and personnel performance, streamlining production processes, guarantee compliance to environmental and other regulation and to
implement strategy", says Janne Pylväs.

"As Key Performance Indicator based Performance Management technologies and Business Process Analysis are used in the largest part of world, and also by Russian oil and gas companies, studying and training these technologies by using QPR software will raise our students' value and a demand for them as specialist in the industry", Mr. Oleg Kuzyakov, Director of the Institute of Cybernetics, Informatics and Communication assesses.

Janne Pylväs sees good potential in strengthening the future co-operation by expanding it to include the new QPR ProcessAnalyzer software tool: "QPR ProcessAnalyzer executes automatically visual process analysis from depository data in business applications. As such it is an easy and efficient way to identify for example process deviations and bottlenecks in industrial processes, like oil and gas production and refining."
