The parties agreed on the joint creation and promotion of complex software products, participation in federal and regional programs, and the service and support of those solutions, CNews reported citing Acronis.

"Cooperation with a developer and integrator for cloud systems management on the Russian market is extremely important and promising for Acronis," said Acronis’ Senior Country Manager in Russia and the CIS Sergei Malgin "Bars Group has a reputation as a responsible and experienced partner that always meets its obligations. We are happy to collaborate [with them] and are looking forward to offering our customers the latest data backup systems for home and office users."

Bars Group has implemented a number of projects for various industries across Russia. The company’s collaboration with Acronis will provide additional opportunities for the Group’s customers including support for previously implemented solutions.

"Partnering with Acronis gives us the opportunity to jointly implement large-scale projects, expand functionality of our cloud storage solution management, and provide protection and high availability of archived data," said the CEO of Bars Group Timur Ahmerov.

An important feature of Acronis products for data protection are their ability to create full disk images, allowing users to quickly restore not only data, but also entire systems, including applications and configuration settings. The company’s products are based on Acronis AnyData Engine technology which supports all common popular systems, virtualization, file-management systems, data storage and applications.

Service providers are also given the option of choosing between Acronis Cloud Storage or a personal depository. According to Acronis, its own Acronis Cloud Storage provides three-level data security.
