Meyer Research Award Announced
Bertrand Meyer, a member of the Program Committee of CEE-SECR 2012, has established a new, one thousand euro award to be given for Best Research Paper in the field of software engineering

Bertrand Meyer, a member of the Program Committee of CEE-SECR 2012, has established a new, one thousand euro award to be given for Best Research Paper in the field of software engineering presented at the upcoming CEE-SECR 2012 conference. Dr. Meyer is the creator of the Eiffel programming language, Chief Architect of Eiffel Software, Professor of Software Engineering at ETH Zurich and Head of Software Engineering Laboratory at ITMO University St. Petersburg.
The winning paper will be chosen from among conference presentations within the Software Engineering Research track that receive the highest ranking from conference attendees and the Program Committee, including:
* Cloud computing;
* Agile methodologies;
* Mobile applications;
* Software for Banking and Finance;
* Programming technologies and tools;
* Software quality assurance;
* Project and product management.
