The Global Track program that RVC has put together for the competition in partnership with Intel is aimed at supporting advanced Russian technology start-ups willing to commercialize their high-tech products and services into the global market.
The current winners include WayRay, an augmented (added) reality based navigation solution for cars; iBinom, a gene data processing system for physicians; and the Arc Protection System firefighting project.
The three projects are expected to represent Russia in the final stage of the Intel Global Challenge international competition to be held in the University of California, Berkeley in early October 2013.
In addition, RVC has awarded a special prize to RealSpeaker, a Kazan-originating speech recognition project that is planning a pitch for US investors in September within the framework of the Russian Innovation Week.
