Bee Pitron Named in Top-50 List of Fast-Growing Hi-Tech Companies by TechUspech-2013 Ranking

Results of the Second national ranking TechUspech-2013 were announced during the public discussion of Open Innovations Forum on the November, 1st. Bee Pitron Ltd. got a position among the most fast-growing hi-tech companies in Russia

The ranking pointed up again the most fast-growing industry sectors in Russia. One third of companies in the Top List operate in IT and Communications field, another third are involved in engineering, less than 20% of business develop Life sciences and Pharma market, only 10% companies are running construction, ecology, chemicals and new materials sectors. 15 manufacturers besides Bee Pitron Ltd. which are laser and electrical equipment, oil and gas machinery and other productions represented engineering sector. Average performance for these businesses are $591,9 million for earnings in 2012 and 30% of it accrue to innovative products.

Leonid Zilberburg the president of Bee Pitron Group gave a comment on the TechUspech results: "TechUspech Ranking can hardly be overestimated because it draws attention of Russian business to the companies that succeed in building up their own technological solutions. Bee Pitron has justly taken a rightful place in this ranking. As we develop electrical interconnection for complex hi-tech product of current Russian manufacturing industry – e.g. new space vehicles, aircrafts, railway stock, ships and military machines, so every our project is practically unique and requires innovative approach.

TechUspech (TechSuccess) – 2013 Ranking was launched by RVK fund with the participation of Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR), Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) and audit and consulting network PwC. Its main goal is to present the most innovative and fast-growing businesses focused on technological development. Evaluation methodology was designed by PwC based on such world-wide rankings as The World's Most Innovative Companies (Forbes), TOP 100 Global Innovators 2012 (Thompson Reuters) è The Global Innovation 1000 study of R&D spending (Booz&Co). On the first stage Top-100 companies were selected from those who sent an application. Then 50 and 30 companies with the best results were shortlisted by three nominations. There was no ranking within nominations.
