Nov 25, 2003
Star Software among other Russian offshore software development companies participated in the fourth consecutive "Russian IT Season" that was held in Scandinavia, November 10-11. The program included presentations and B2B meetings in Helsinki and Stockholm.
The main goal of the road show was to demonstrate the benefits of "technological partnership" with Russian software development companies. This event attracted representatives from over 70 Scandinavian companies, including such well-known names as SAS, Nokia, TietoEnator, KnowIT, Jeeves, and many others interested in strengthening their value proposition through doing software development operations in Russia. The road show helped to raise awareness of Russian outsourcing market as well as to create bridges between Nordic customers and Russian offshore software providers.
Star Software's Area Manager in Sweden Mr. Hugo Barklund together with Director of Business Development Mr. Michael Tsygankov demonstrated their approach to manage stable long-standing partnerships with clientele around the globe. "We are glad to have an opportunity to present practices that have been proven with our 12 years of experience in export software outsourcing and we consider "Russian IT Season 2003" in Scandinavia to be successful - we have noticed an intense interest in Russia as in a potential partner in the field of IT outsourcing and offshore software development," said Michael Tsygankov.
