Exigen Services Addresses Emerging Trends In Global Outsourcing During IAOP’s Outsourcing World Summit
Feb 26, 2007
Exigen Services, one of the largest application and software development outsourcing firms in Central and Eastern Europe, joined leading service providers in a panel discussion on emerging offshore destinations during the 10th Annual International Association for Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) World Summit, February 19-21, in Las Vegas. As the industry’s leading community, IAOP’s 40,000 members use the Summit as a platform to address key industry trends and developments.
The Emerging Global Destinations panel, moderated by Jag Dalal, IAOP’s Managing Director for Thought Leadership, explored the reasons more companies are seeking outsourcing partners beyond India and China. Panel members from Russia Singapore, Egypt and Israel discussed how the economics, scalability and political stability of these regions are motivating factors to look beyond traditional application development service providers.
"The demand for skills is growing more strongly than ever, and the supply of experienced talent will be ever more critical. It is no surprise that a flurry of research and development centers for global technology leaders have opened or expanded in Russia," said Peter Vaihansky, Vice President of Marketing for Exigen Services. "Proximity, scale, cultural affinity, Western mindset, world class education system and vibrant, fast growing IT workforce make this region a natural choice for both EMEA and U.S. companies looking to outsource high-end application development work."
