According to the statement, the messenger can be used by users of Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, iOS and Android operating systems. The program allows to exchange messages, create group chats, carry out audio and video calls and conferences, as well as to provide other services for organization of the working process.

"We have recently had many discussions over the necessity to create the indigenous messenger, which could provide Russian companies and state agencies with reliable communication channels. The use of foreign software in the state document flow creates additional risks of information security," RT-Inform Director General Kamil Gazizov said as quoted in the press release.

The company RT-Inform, specializing in the automation of management and accounting based on the 1C software platform, was established in 2012.
