100 IT projects nearing completion at Domodedovo airport
No less than one hundred IT projects are at different stages of completion at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport.

No less than one hundred IT projects are at different stages of completion at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport. The projects have a budget totalling 2 billion rubles, or approximately $66 million, over two years, Domodedovo’s IT Director Viktor Ponomarenko announced yesterday.
Among the projects, most of which will be completed in 2012, are a new data processing center, enhanced internal communication systems, and a fence system to secure the airport’s perimeter. The latter is provided by Smart Fence, a company from Texas.
Several additional projects that are currently underway are related to passenger safety and flight security and therefore come under the responsibility of the federal authorities.
