Nov 17, 2003
At the beginning of October the training program for the ICT Connector Project Russia was published. Based on a questionnaire distributed to project participants in July-August of this year, the training program includes the themes for prospective trainings. Information on the company's education policies and other information was used in drawing up the training program.

The first training session, on "Project Appraisal", took place in the project office in Saint Petersburg on 4-5 November. Participants from FORS SPb, Undec, Novosoft-Zheleznogorsk, Antares, CSI International Software, SoftJoys, Kaspersky Laboratory, Arcadia, LMR Software /Laboratory of Macroeconomic Research took part in the two days session.

The training session was lead by PMI (Project Management Institute) Saint Petersburg Chapter, chosen through a tender process which analyzed the work of several education providers based in Saint Petersburg and Moscow. This is the kick-start of a series of Project-sponsored training sessions for local firms to be implemented over the following months. The full program if the trainings scheduled for 2003-2004 could be found at our website http://www.russia-software.com/ict/.
