Moscow, 27 September 2005 – Artezio’s joining LANIT Group is a carefully planned step in realizing the strategy of active development, combining the growth of its own business and acquiring the companies successfully working on the market. LANIT has great experience not only in the sphere of acquiring the companies but also in their integration into the structure of the Group. This is not the first acquisition of that kind for LANIT. Earlier they acquired several companies following the same pattern when company retains its juridical independence. As in cases with CompTek (distribution of telecommunication equipment) and Norbit (managing consulting, ERP solutions), the merger doesn’t imply the change in management of the acquired company. According to the opinion of LANIT’s Administration this model is the most effective.

Artezio specializes in software development. Among its clients there are companies from Russia, South-East Asia, Western Europe and USA. Acquisition of Artezio Company is an important step in organizing "Software Development" division. The purpose of forming this structure is to expand the possibilities to use mutual resources, organize cooperation on high-scale projects and ensure effective experiences’ exchange without changing the legal status of merging companies. Mutual efforts will ensure more rapid rate for business growing and will strengthen the positions of LANIT on this segment of IT market.

Division will consist of several companies including LANIT, LANIT-Tercom and Artezio. Joined structure will include more that 550 specialists (around 20 % of all employees in LANIT Group). Expected revenue for the year 2005 is around 16 million $. In the nearest future the expected rate of business growth for this division is 50 % a year.
