St. Petersburg, Russia, July 7 2014 – Since the beginning of 2013, Reksoft, a leading developer of software and information systems and part of Technoserv Group, has been performing a project to implement an internal bonus calculator for the bank Home Credit, based on the Liferay Enterprise Portal platform.

As part of the project, Reksoft developers implemented the bonus calculator in stages and launched an automated system to process the collection, approval and data visualization of employee bonuses. Reksoft delivered a data collection subsystem to enable the bank to automate salespeople’s bonuses. Now, via a convenient user interface, managers can award and approve bonuses, view consolidated data, create bonus targets and upload the resulting data into the bank’s existing SAP ERP system, Human Capital Management, to calculate bonus amounts.

As part of the task of visualizing data on bonuses, Reksoft developed personal accounts where each employee can view information about both accrued bonuses and forecasts for upcoming bonuses for current sales. The personal account shows a summary of total bonuses for the selected month (for example, bonuses for the sale of certain types of products), and the values of parameters that affect the bonus (for example, sales by product type), and details of the banking products sold by the employee. The composition of the displayed data is dynamic and can change as quickly as the bonus scheme: a new index is simply added to the directory.

Sergey Luban, the bank’s head of business intelligence and analysis, outlined the benefits: ‘The bonus calculator project has reduced the time needed to prepare data on bonuses, it’s reduced the number of errors in preparing them, and it’s reduced the burden on our HR team. Our employees get information on their bonuses in real time, which increases the transparency of the whole process.’

Reksoft chose the full-function Liferay Enterprise Portal, which can create portal applications of any complexity, as well as being a cost-effective and flexible product with a high capacity for integration.

The main advantages of the Liferay Enterprise Portal are the lower licensing costs compared to its rivals, low energy demands, and the availability of a large number of Java developers on the market.

The platform includes broad functionality opportunities to realize intranet and Internet portals, internal corporate social networks, support systems, collaborative systems, document coordination, and the ability to integrate solutions into corporate IT infrastructure.

Alexander Egorov, CEO of Reksoft, outlined what this collaboration means for him: ‘Reksoft has been an official partner of Liferay since 2013. That means we can develop custom software and provide solutions for our customers based on Liferay portal technology. Partner status allows us to carry out first-line support solutions based on Liferay right across Russia.’
