Oct 09, 2012
The first demonstration hall of the Russian company GLONASS navigation and information systems (NIS GLONASS) has opened in Mumbai, which confirms the company’s plans of launching production and developing software for the Indian market.

This is the first hall in India where potential partners can become familiar with the firm’s products. Another hall is planned to be opened in New Delhi.

"If our business is successful, we might open another two new full-fledged centers in India's key regions, with which we'll be cooperating, and small centers at the offices of our regional partners," director of the India-GLONASS program Vladimir Finov said.

NIS GLONASS is the system integrator of the largest projects to introduce GLONASS technologies in Russia.
