RUSSOFT, Russia's nationwide association of export aimed software development companies, joins Central and Eastern European Association (CEEOA) as a new member.
Being established in early 2000s RUSSOFT Association today unites more than 70 software developing companies from Russia and also some leading companies from Belarus. The association is an active lobbyist of IT industry interests inside Russia and an advocate of the Russian speaking region's hi-end software products and IT-services overseas.
CEE and Russia together form the major European center of high-tech software development outsourcing. And it's not a surprise that the region is one of the leading ICT outsourcing destinations of the world. It grows at a fast pace - and not least of all - by the reason of its compatible cultural background and geographical proximity to European customers. Now IT-outsourcing professionals from Russia join CEEOA in order to establish a region-wide partnership which will promote their integrated services in Western Europe.
"Together RUSSOFT and CEEOA with their industries producing over $5B of services are definitely to fuse a strong and reliable alliance highly competitive to India and China, especially on the European market," said Valentin Makarov, President of RUSSOFT. "This partnership will help us to create a significantly stronger pool of sophisticated outsourcing resource next door to Europe. The resource which allows the whole Europe to retain and increase its competitive advantages on the Global ICT-market."
